Design of sensor networks
Fluves design sensor networks for continuous hydrological and hydraulic measurements.
Parameters such as water level, flow velocity or turbidity are continuously measured by connecting different sensors to a datalogger. Water levels are measured with radar or pressure. Flow velocity is measured with ADV or ADCP. Turbidity is measured with OBS, calibrated with water samples.
Dataloggers are wireless connected (GPRS, Wifi, RF) to custom-made web portals. Based on tresholds, alarm levels can be generated through mail, SMS or tweets.
